Dog bites Larry...Sissy kicks the dog 10/02/2011
Willie loved the biscuits and white milk gravy...oh how he had missed those this past month and a half. Helen had gotten pretty dang good at making those biscuits too! Sitting across from her at the table was in a word...wonderful! She had the most beautiful blue eyes and a smile that lit up the room. How in the world did she have such straight teeth? He loved watching Larry fork his "piggies" made out of biscuits with gravy and Sondra pick up her "piggies" with her tiny fingers...one bite at a time. There wasn't anything he wouldn't do to protect those babies and their mom. Helen looked at Willie as he was watching the kids enjoy their breakfast. She loved his brown eyes and wavy black hair...the way he laughed was infectious! He was in such good shape...the most handsome sailor ever! Oh how she loved that man...her sailor! When they finished with their breakfast...Larry asked if he and Sissy could go out to play. He was such a good big brother always taking care of and protecting little sissy. She would go pretty much everywhere Larry went because he needed someone to explain what he was trying to say. Bless his heart...he tried to get people to listen and understand him...but they just couldn't. Sissy was just a little thing, but knew what Larry was saying when others didn't, so she helped her big brother out. As they were running around the tree and just having the best time ever, Shelton's dog came running into the yard. They didn't have any fear of dogs and had actually played with this dog before. Not sure what happened next, but the dog snapped at Larry biting him in the mouth. He was screaming and crying and making all sorts of racket. Sondra was so mad at that dog for biting her best bud, she ran over and kicked it saying, "Bad Dog!" When she did, the dog bit her in the lip too! Willie and Helen heard the kids, came running out into the yard and grabbed them up in their arms. In between sobs, Sondra told them what had happened. With worried looks on their faces, they started running up the road to Shelton's. CommentsSondra 10/02/2011 12:02pm
